Infinite Power of Hope

I love the word infinite.  A word often used to explain our Savior Jesus Christ.  Hope has an infinite power because of Jesus Christ.  Without Jesus Christ there would nether be a reason to hope or infinite happiness.  In the scriptures we find a young man who went around seeking to destroy the church his very father was trying to establish.  One day while going around causing damage an angel appeared to this young man and told him to stop.  This young man could not speak nor move after this experience.  In his own words he says of this experience, “And now, for three days and for three nights was I racked, even with the pains of a damned soul.   And it came to pass that as I was thus racked with torment, while I was harrowed up by the memory of my many sins, behold, I remembered also to have heard my father prophesy unto the people concerning the coming of one Jesus Christ, a Son of God, to atone for the sins of the world.  Now, as my mind caught hold upon this thought, I cried within my heart: O Jesus, thou Son of God, have mercy on me, who am in the gall of bitterness, and am encircled about by the everlasting chains of death And now, behold, when I thought this, I could remember my pains no more; yea, I was harrowed up by the memory of my sins no more (Alma 36:16-19).  Because of the infinite power of the Atonement this young man was able to receive a remission of his sins just like the rest of us can. Let us live with infinite hope. A hope in our Savior, friend, and greatest example Jesus Christ.

Good things to come

Sometimes we may feel that there is no hope in the future.  Sometimes we may feel that there is no light at the end of the tunnel, but Christ is at the end of the tunnel. Because he is, there will always be light at the end.  Christ lives, loves us, and wants to help us.
